AN EXCITING NEW CHAPTER
Tiffin Group, (owners of Scoozi, Tiffin Beach, Tiffin Farm Café in Somerset, and The Brasserie and Infusion in Jersey), have agreed to take on the beautiful building that currently houses the much loved Junior Poon Restaurant and Wine Bar in Hill Road, Clevedon.
With the retirement of Junior after 33 years, Junior Poon Restaurant and it’s Wine Bar will finally close its doors as a premium Chinese Restaurant, before reopening as an eatery and bar to complement Tiffin’s sister venue, Scoozi, next door.
Linda and Nick Wring, owners of Tiffin Group said: “we have known Junior and Rena almost since the day they first opened their doors and created a truly iconic venue which draws guests from far and wide to our delightful town. There is absolutely no way we would think of replicating their achievement in creating one of the best Chinese restaurants in the region, but on receiving the news from Junior about his retirement, we
knew it was an obvious fit as another premier venue for our operation.
As we have done with all our projects, we intend to create a special venue where guests look forward to visiting, relaxing and drinking in typical Tiffin style and ambience.
On a personal note, our sincere thanks go to Junior and Rena and their loyal team for the many years of great dining, service, support and generosity they have given to Clevedon.
We wish Junior and Rena a happy and peaceful retirement and hope they enjoy their freedom after giving so much enjoyment to others.
